Ahh, Happy Easter everyone!
We had my brother, sister, sister-in-law, sister's fiance, 3 nieces and my nephew all over for roast (which I didn't have because in all honesty, I think roast dinner is repulsive) so today was quite hectic. I didn't get any eggs because I specifically asked for people not to get me any (plain chocolate-bleurgh) so instead I got some MaltEasters (those malteaser bunny rabbits) and mini eggs. Nom Nom.
After A lazy afternoon which involved mild small talk, coffee and gerbils; we all sat down for dinner , or rather, they ate dinner and drank wine, I just drank wine. My brother's home-made "Chateaux De Shite" gave me a headache so I left with Shanon (my 16 year old niece) to go hide 12 creme eggs for the other kiddies to find. That was fun, wandering around the garden and car park leaving behind a trail eggs and then forgetting where they were.
The hunting was hilarious to watch, yet at the same time irritating because I knew where they were, haha.
After everyone had found the very well hidden creme eggs, we went down the beach for a while. We kids were trying to do handstands and kartwheels (I failed and landed on my head) whilst we slowly made our way accross the beach. Nathan got stuck down a 6ft deep ditch haha. After wasting all their energy on kartwheels, everyone asked me for piggybacks. Thats a 12-year-old Katie, a 5-year-old Emily, a 10-year-old Nathan and a 16-year-old Shanon all taking it in turns to have a ride up the hill. Ouch, my back. Nah I'm just kidding, they're not that heavy.
Oh yeah, I nearly forgot .. the aquarium. It was .. interesting I guess, but I got up way too late and forgot my camera so no pictures, I apologise. We watched some cheesey 4D film where the seats moved, stringy bits whipped your ankles, air got blown into your face and bubbles came down from the ceiling. To be honest, it was the worst 3D/4D film I've ever had to watch, but still .. a good day out.
Well, I got a ton of mini eggs to get through, bye bye x
